When it comes to the matter of

Belonging

I got the feeling I don’t

Not here

Not anywhere

I’m just a piece of a puzzle

That ceased to exist

Or that hasn’t been made yet

I’m the odd piece

That won’t fit in to the even puzzle

I’m too big for one

And too small for two

But I’m not one and a half

And I’m not more than one and a half

But I’m also not a quantity

Except for height, weight, shoe size

Those were my words now

I’m afraid that I can’t fit in

Even if I tried

Yes, I’m done

It’s come to an end

And no sign warned me

It just wasn’t there
